Cedar Park to Get Farmers Market

by smariani on February 22, 2010

At long last, Cedar Park is about to get a Farmer’s Market!

The new Cedar Park Farms to Market opens March 27 in the 1890 Ranch Shopping Center at the corner of 183A and 1431 in Cedar Park, Texas.

The Cedar Park Farms to Market will be managed by F2M Texas, a 501(c)(3) Texas non-profit corporation formed to provide area farmers with profitable direct-marketing opportunities and to provide citizens in our Texas communities with a wide variety of fresh, locally-produced foods in a convenient location.

To ensure efficient operation of its farmers’ markets, the corporation seeks to educate the public about nutritional, economic, environmental, and social implications of eating seasonally and locally.
