Road Closures around Austin on Sept 8 2010

Williamson County Judge Dan A. Gattis has signed a local disaster declaration due to flooding in the county. County offices will open at 10 a.m.  More than 23 water rescues from homes and vehicles have occurred over night. The Williamson County Unified Road System announces the following roads are closed as of 8 a.m. due to high water. Residents are encouraged not to drive unless necessary or to delay starting out on roads this morning. Drivers should use caution when water covers a road and, “Turn around, don’t drown.”
